Greeting Cards and Gift Candles

Simple Elegance

I recently got my two lovely stamp and die sets from Papertrey Ink –  the Bloomers set and The Sweet Life set.

I am thrilled to present this one.  birthday 45 momI turned to a card I saw on Pinterest for inspiration for the layout.

I used Papertrey Ink’s stampers select white as the base and as a layer.

I cut two strips of PTI’s royal velvet and limeade ice for the sides.

I found that those colours worked so perfectly together that I must do it again!

For the flowers I used The Sweet Life set.  I stamped then die cut them and attached them with foam tape.

I decided to do only two-part stamping rather than three as this set allows.  I used winter wisteria and plum pudding to stamp the flowers and new leaf and pinefeather to stamp the leaves.  I layered on the sentiment that came with the Bloomers set but next time I think I would rather stamp it right on to the card.

I do love how the background just illuminates the card and compliments the colours!

Enjoy!

Here is the colour combo.  Lots of colours on this one even though it doesn’t seem so.
