Mother’s Day 2016: Sneak Peek 3

Hi there,

I really wanted to give another peek earlier but I’ve been down with a virus for a week!  Anyway, I’m excited to show you what you’re about to see.  Be warned – picture heavy.

What is mom into?  I figured that not all moms are into gardening and baking.  Some moms are high fashion and downright fabulous dressers.  So if your mom is into clothes, handbags and purses or shoes, one of these is for her.

The Cloche Hat

This beautiful 1920 hat is back in style!  Apart from the usual fabric it comes in crochet and straw so why not paper?  A pretty alternative to the traditionally shaped card.  (I purchased this template from StampingT)  Cardstock: Papertrey Ink’s vintage cream, lavender moon and autumn rose.  Stamp also from PTI.  Flower and ribbons from my stash.

The WalletMD wallet 2  MD wallet 1

This wallet card can be used to give cash or just as a card.  It carries a beautiful message inside: “Mom, you are worth more to me that you can ever imagine.  Your love is priceless.  Happy Mother’s Day.”

Cardstock: PTI’s enchanted evening, canyon clay. Brown from a local store.  The DSP on both cards is from K&Company – nature paper pad.

The Dress

This lovely gown reminds mom of her elegance and grace.  Cardstock: The bottom of the dress is DCWV’s glitter paper and the top is PTI’s enchanted evening.  Card is stamper’s select white with a strip of black and white from Authentique’s crush collection.

The Shoe

Now who doesn’t love a red shoe?  This one reminds mom that she’s fab and she did a fab job with you too!  Cardstock: PTI’s stamper’s select white, true black and red from a local store.  The DSP is Authentique’s elegant two.

The Handbag

I left these for last because I wanted to show you the formal and the casual ones.  Want all of these in your wardrobe?  So do I.  I love these bags!  Cardstock: PTI’s stamper’s select white, enchanted evening, blueberry sky, vintage cream.  Red cardstock bought locally.  DSP on the brown bag is K&Company.

Hope you like these as much as I do.  I am so going to make many more.

Take care,

Lisa
